In His Presence

In the quiet stillness of a winter morning
when the snow lay on the ground,
I gaze in silent wonder, at such beauty,
so profound!

A redbird suddenly takes flight
as I gaze from my window at this lovely sight;
I thank God for this lovely gift I've been given,
a perfect picture of pure delight!

I'm reminded of God's plan of salvation,
that His blood is what cleanses us whiter than snow;
We repent of our sins and receive His forgiveness
and out of our hearts, His living water will flow!

As I gaze at the lovely picture before me
and know it was He who created this scene;
I feel the desire within me yearning, to
kneel at the feet of my Savior and King!
